Whether you look at his work or talk to the man himself, you are left in awe. He is the Founder and CEO of Adeckko, a renowned organization for building custom-made space-saving furniture. The products of his company range from customized furniture to raw construction materials. We caught up with Nischay in an engaging conversation.
Everything about Nischay Koushal reflects a true feeling of purpose, trustworthiness, and simplicity. The two mottos on which Adeckko is established are creating employment and fulfilling the satisfy the comfort of thousands of houses. But the journey of a middle-class boy becoming a successful entrepreneur was not a smooth ride. Nischay joined the business at an early age after the demise of his parents but lacked guidance . Yet, he had the determination to rise on his own.
And one day, Nischay saw a construction work ad in the newspaper and decided to try that out. So, he recruited a guy to help him with that. But he had to let him go a couple of weeks later as things didn’t go well. Soon Nischay was offered a government contract in Delhi to work on the 2010 Commonwealth games. As he had no prior work experience in this sector, this task was enormous. He struggled.
As he wanted his own business, so he built a furniture business from scratch. Realizing the need for space-saving customized furniture, Nischay established ADECKKO in 2011. One day he saw a Facebook post of a woman searching for a shoe rack. He reached out to her. She asked if he could build it for her and deliver it to Jalandhar. Nischay agreed and provided the shoe rack within two weeks of receiving the order. Before shipping the item, they had a photoshoot of the shoe rack and uploaded it on Facebook. Those photos received many queries within 24-48 hours.
Nischay Koushal converted those queries to leads. As a result of the attention Adeckko was getting, some startups started calling him. They wanted to provide online stores to commercial businesses like Adeckko. After building an online store, many people discovered the unique range of products made by Adeckko. Team Nischay started receiving thousands of calls. But, after two years, that platform started experiencing some difficulties, so Adeckko had to switch. Soon the new independent Adeckko website was fully functional and received orders from all over the country.
Nischay Koushal wanted to explore the plywood and raw construction material sector next. He helped Adeckko bring plywood and cement sales to an EMI mode and credit system. This option was economical and transparent. He added the products to his website and launched an android app making the entire process smooth.
Adeckko, which began its venture with shoe cabinets, is now amplified to custom-made, space-saving furniture. Their customers send them a photograph for inspiration and the size requirements. Adeckko delivers the product within 20 days. With a determined team of 35-40 carpenters handling the heaviest raw material in India, Team efficiently manages the deliveries.
